Hauler guide: Priority Waste

How to find your pickup day

Eastpointe is divided into 5 pickup areas, Monday–Friday. Find yours on the color-coded refuse map linked from the city's refuse information page.

• Refuse information page (has the area map)

Holiday delay rule

When a holiday falls on a weekday, pickup is one day late for the rest of the week. Weekend holidays cause no delay.

Upcoming holiday weeks

“Published schedule” means the city, township, or hauler posted this week's changes. “Based on holiday rule” means we applied the published rule to the calendar; confirm closer to the date.

Recycling

Recycling is picked up on the same day as trash.

Yard waste: when the season ends

Yard waste ends December 11, 2026 (the city's season always ends the second Friday of December).

Bulk items

Call Priority Waste to schedule a bulk pickup before putting items at the curb. Bundle items 4 feet or shorter and 50 lb or less. Appliances with Freon cost $55 each, prepaid, need a Freon-removed sticker, and must have the doors removed. Wrap or bag mattresses.
