Quick answers

Can I put furniture out with my regular trash in metro Detroit?

In most metro Detroit towns, yes: household furniture goes at the curb on your regular trash day, often with a weekly item limit. Mattresses usually must be wrapped in plastic, and appliances with refrigerant may need a separate pickup. Check your town's rule first.

Do holidays delay bulk trash pickup?

Bulk items are usually picked up with regular trash, so they follow the same holiday delay. If your pickup slides a day, put bulk items out on the new day.
